This is a tribute to the greatest comic strip ever, Calvin and Hobbes. I tried to make the pictures go with the song instead of a random slideshow.

Fantastic. I read Calvin since I was 6, and this reminds me just how funny, crazy, emotional, and flat out brilliant it could be. This was the Shakespeare of the comics section. Hasn't been this good since and probably won't ever again.

Words can't emphasize the magic of Calvin & Hobbes enough. We all feel like Calvin in a way, we'd wish we could escape the everyday turmoil and just run wild and free with the best friend we all really need - Hobbes!

Firstly ( is that a word?), I am a longtime C&H fan. Now pushing 61 years, I still relish the early days of reading Bill W's books to my two sons (now in their mid 20's). They now question life but also relish it. It's a Gift ! Coincidentally, I am a huge Stevie Ray Vaughan fan too. Blues is in me blood. The innocence of Hobbes, the brash, inquisitiveness of Calvin....I wish I was seven years old again.
