  • This video sucks. Thanks for nothing.

  • It's too bad the video didn't work for you, because it completely fulfilled the purpose of its makers. If you're looking for more examination and less trivia go find another video. Some people think examining techniques is boring, you happen to think trivial information is. No one said Faulkner wrote jazz novels. I agree that jazz wasn't the only music of the twenties but everyone knows it was a highlight of the twenties, that's why the beginning of the video reads "Life in the 1920's."

  • just because he wrote in the twenties does not mean he wrote jazz novels. Jazz novels were about the roaring lifestyle(wealthy city life, not rural south). Not everyone who wrote then was a jazz author just as not every musician in the twenties played jazz. I got a five on the AP US history test. I won't make your fallacy and assume you're uninformed, but this video was fucking terrible because you list trivial information instead of examining his technique or explaining why he's important.

  • The jazz music you're hearing happens to be the Charleston, a very famous tune from the 1920's. In case you didn't you, Faulkner lived in the twenties. Guess you know little to nothing about American history.

  • fucking terrible. and whats with the jazz intro? I can't imagine faulkner having less to do with jazz novels.

  • Bravo!! Great Job A & E.
