Sunset Beach and Intercostal waterway swing bridge

Beautiful white sand beach and Intercostal Waterway swing bridge. The swing bridge is the last of its type on the Intercostal waterway in NC. It is being replaced with a high bridge over the waterway.

although that bridge was a pain to get across all through my childhood-last July, I'll always miss that bridge. I think thebridge should be kept just for the memories I have going across it.

I absolutely love this place. im 16 and have been going to sunset since i was in the womb. our family owns our own beach house here and its my favorite place in the world. we have had some crazy times on our vacations. you should check out some of my videos of what we did here. theres one thing i hate though....the building of the new bridge and knocking down the swing bridge. the swing bridge is sunset beach's icon. the new bridge theyre building leaves me heart broken.
