honda cbr 600 go kart

this is a go kart that we made over the past summer. has a Honda cbr 600 f2 engine in it. pretty much everything but the front end is home-made, the front is off of a four-wheeler.

plz help i own a go kart with an 8 hp brigs and it has 15 inch whells so the clutch dont work and i cant afford a tourqe convertor so i was wondering if i drill holes through the clutch and put pins in it whuold it be fine oth the motor liek when i start it have it on low idle then jump in and go

if its a centrifugal clutch you could try putting heavier springs on it. it will make the clutch engage at higher rpm which hopefully will be at a point with higher torque.

havent had a chance to weigh it yet, but i believe the cbr 600 had about 100 hp.

its way too low geared.... go with a smaller sprocket in the back and it will FLY!
