FVHS BBN - Dating Violence PSA
My friend Addi decided to create a dating violence public service announcement for the BBN (Baron Broadcast News), our school's bi-weekly news episodes, to raise awareness about it. I helped bring some strong ideas to it since I was pretty involved in an abusive relationship myself with my first ex-boyfriend.

  • I hope this video helps victims realize they CAN get out &have a happy future. sorry for such a long comment, but i really wanted to express how right this video is.

  • & the girl being torn away from a friend is great as well, I was isolated from friends and family more &more over time.& the girl in the end saying "i wish my boyfriend got me flowers" also has great significance, because you never want to tell anyone what's happening to you or they will find out & threaten you, also no one ever sees it,the fights were always in private, so he knew no one could help me & that no one would believe me because of the great act he put on in front of his enablers.

  • this is one of the only videos that instantly made me tear up because I could feel the girl's pain.a lot of people don't take acting these videos out seriously because they've never been in that situation & its understandable. as for the video, the whole "admit it" arguement is played out perfectly. They make you feel like you are being put on trial for something you know if you're heart you didn't even come close to doing & they have made you out to be guilty. it's the worst feeling in the world.

  • She deserved it!

  • @LaluLove100

I think you call that an S&M relationship....

  • OJ: Nicole, don't you EVER let me catch you talking to another guy, especially that Jew-boy, Goldman. Understand me, bitch? (Slap).

  • Is it weird that I want a relationship like this? I feel so awkward wanting something like this but I feel like I need it. But enough about my problems... This was an amazing video and probably one of the most convincing too! Keep up the good work :)
