I didn't realize this until the end, but there's nobody translating to him.

@ishouldplayzelda This would be rather like a shonen anime that beats people up, or lets us stand aroudn talking about nothing in order to get the authentic feel.
Which the groundhog episode of Suppernatural, THAT is how you convey the annoyance and tedium of a ground hog loop without some lame hack technique like showing an episode 8 times in a row. I rank shows like Suppernatural higher than Hurahi, because if someone tried that crap they would be fired

your all missing the point. the point was to put the fans through what yuki was going through and it worked. it pissed everyone off because it's monotonous, that's the goddamn point. a time loop like that would probably make you commit suicide on the 30th run but yuki had to do it 15,500 times (not the exact number. i know, shut the fuck up about it)

I'm curious to know what Tanigawa Nagaru thinks about the butchery version of his story.

Well, she also sayd that in the novel.
If Kyon had been killed shit would blow up, which would be bad.
But the time-looping was of no consequence to the Data Entity thing, there was no need for them to intervene.

And now everyone loves what they did.
Poor angry kids who got angry over this two years ago... they were sacrificed for the future of Haruhi!

@vivoslibertos good one xD

@SonofAbel well in the story it lastet well over ~15000 times and they mention that equals over 500 years, also 8 epsiodes with one each week equal 2 months of insanity =(

"You have to promise not to write about this on the net."
"I won't."

"But it's a secret!"
LOL.

The problem with this is that it's a big waste of time for the fans, many of whom spend their personal time looking to the next episode. No one wants to sit in an endless scenario because a stupid high school girl can't get over a few little problems. People watch anime to escape the drudgery of life, not to immerse themselves in it.

I love this guy. You can always count on him to be outspoken and controversial when it comes to Kyoani. I'm looking forward to his antics in 2011 when his next series comes out.
