  • Yeah, that was the one that I saw, quite a pricy setup though relatively. Yours sounds quite loud in the vids.. I guess what I'm asking is A) whether I'm going to get pulled over or not, or B) if it's too loud for a neighborhood.

I really appreciate you answering all these questions - I've been looking for an exhaust setup for my car for almost a year now, and I can say this is the first I'm willing to spend money on - I just don't wanna have the wrong setup for me, ya know? :P

  • @freakelectronica I can not conceive you ever getting pulled over unless you are driving in a manner to draw attention to yourself. It is not loud untill you drive the car over 2K RPM's, so it is manageable for sure. My car is backed up to my neighbors two newborn twins(15' away) and it doesn't disrupt them. I live one block away from the county sheriff office, never, ever been questioned or looked at funny by police.

  • @freakelectronica I'm trying to type more info but its not working, I'll e-mail you later-

  • sequential tail lights :D

  • @freakelectronica My set up is far from setting any car alarms off, that's funny though. The ProChamber video i was referring to is the dark blue SN95, he has it listed as "best 3.8 V6 exhaust set up" I think. But no, mine isn't THAT loud.

  • @robb15033 Yeah, I was thinking of ways to quiet it down, because if I actually get the money to do this, there's no way I'm passing up on an exhaust note like THAT for not that much.. But I don't want my daily driver to set off alarms lol! xD That other video sounds really nice! I can't tell which parts are the prochamber speaking out, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'm eager to see the video you post of this setup with the prochamber :D

  • @freakelectronica If you go to my favorites or do a search: "V6 ProChamber" you can hear what one sounds like. He has the FM 44's.

  • @freakelectronica Yes, I agree with you. I am installing a MAC ProChamber as a "mid-pipe" in a week or so. That will quiet it down a little bit but improve sound tone and performance.

Cherry Bomb "Extreme" are similar mufflers.

  • @freakelectronica Installation cost will vary depending on area that you live. just make sure you take it to a shop that can weld exhaust pipe, not a place like "Midas". I paid $200.00 to have everything welded and hung.

  • @robb15033 Darn. I'm looking for something that sounds nice, but isn't horrendously loud. Sounds like volume concerns for me will have to take the back seat the more and more I think about this tone. xD
