It's too fast, it's supposed to sound like a sarabande.

@lovesGenet So, what do you think about Joachim Raff's transription of the cello suites?
-
This was a pleasure to hear. Intense and very original. It's as if it were from the Well Tempered Clavier...with some generous dashes of Beethoven. You play with lots of artful musical drama...and I'm hooked. BRAVO!
Some of those note choices, embellishments and chord choices were quite edgy. I like.
I have a similarly open-minded approach to playing Bach. You might appreciate my video of Bach...on the violin. It's unusual ;--)
Viva Bach!

No cellists should not listen to this .I don't know why this andGodowsky's versions of cello suites are a blown up of majesty that strangles the majesty out of it.I'm a pianist .It horrifies me .Cello much better and Bach was a transcriber of everything.this: NO.Most definitely!

@lovesGenet peace... I never questioned the Greatness of the original works! Also, with a bit more open-mindedness maybe you would experience less "horror" in your life.

All cellists should listen to these keyboard versions. Very helpful, thanks!
