  • Hi Jay,

I realy like your music, did you ever think about playing a gig in the Netherlands?

what kind of tubes do you use in the mesa?

I'm using the same Amp but yours seem to sound a bit more vintage than with the stock tubes.

  • @TheSalmaniacs Dear Friend, i would love to go and perform in the Netherlands if a gig pops up ;) U r right about the tubes, my Mesa is fitted with Russian tubes SOVTEK.

  • hi,

how loud did you set your amp in this video?

  • @tpwelie34 Hey, my master is on 9:30 / 10:00 and the channels are between 10:00 & 11:00

  • Hi, good stuff but just a question: are you using te FX/LOOP or straight in front of the amp to plug your effects?

  • @kimoband Hey! I use the Radial FX LOOp in front of the amp to add effects (different distortions/chorus..) but my delay is looped on the Mesa via send return.

    Rock'n'roll

  • Hey jay love your style and technique! your an amazing player! i also have a roadster and am looking for tone settings such as yours could you PLEASE share them sir? it would be greatly appreciated thank you!

  • Hey Jay,

Can you tell me exactly which Sovtec tubes you use? is it only the preamp tubes, or also the power tubes?

    greetz, Rob

  • @Jaywudmusic

Hi Jay, be carefull with the use of only russian tubes I have had some problems with the use of other preamp tubes. I did a full retube with JJ ECC83 tubes and after a while I had a lot of drop outs and volume drops. the problem is that the V3 and V5 on the Roadster are cothode follower positions, Mesa uses chinese 12AX7 tubes for this positions. My Roadster is in reparation at the moment, because the preamp print was burned out on this 2 (V3 & V5) positions.
