Hi! I love this bag, it's so cute! I'm making one for my friends birthday on Friday. I'm relatively new at sewing, so excuse me if I'm not understanding something. :) For the flowers, can I sew them to the satin fabric before sewing the satin and lining fabric to the zipper? Thank you!

when i was making the handle, i got impatient, so instead i cut a 45 degree angle on the end of the ribbon, then threaded that through a needle with a big eye opening... whatever you call it, and use the needle to move the ribbon through the chain... IT HELPED OUT SO MUCH!!!!!
