@eternityandforever Also look in that same verse, 'And the WORD WAS GOD" This is talking about Jesus, something that you deny. I will also tell you to keep reading that chapter because it goes on to say 'AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US"

Now, what does John say? That the Word (Jesus) was with God (The Father) and WAS GOD,, and the WORD (JESUS) Became flesh and dwelt among us...

I am sorry to tell you that you are too engrained in a false teaching by a false prophet.

@eternityandforever All anyone has to do is go to the oldest Greek manuscripts and see that the letter 'A" IS NOT BEFORE GOD. Maybe you should look into the JW's court battle where the JW Church could not prove that their translators spoke one word of Greek or Hebrew. They are not recogonized by anyone for the simple reason that they are not translators.

You see, we have enough of the old manuscripts to show us that the letter "A" is not to be found in John 1:1

READ read the REST of John chapt. one you will see we take a 'whole' view of the context.We made a correct reading of the scripture.Take a GOOD look at John 1:1 itself.It says,the Word was 'with' God.Can God be 'with' himself? NO. So that means it is talking about someone else being WITH God.Vs.2 says this one was WITH God.Vs14 says he was an only-begotten son from a father.Vs.18 says no one has seen God-thousands saw Jesus,so he's not God!

In the Oldest Greek manuscripts there is no "A" Before God. This totally takes away the diety of Jesus. So don't tell me that the Jehovah's Witnesses adare to the bible because they don't. The Jehovah's Witnesses teach that Jesus is a Michael the ark angel...this too goes totally against what the oldest Greek Manuscripts say.

So, please, don't go telling me or anyone else that the Jehovah's Witnesses adare to the scriptures.

@eternityandforever The Jehovah's Witnesses do not, and I say do not compy with scripture. The Jehovah's Witness leaders have taken scripture and have deleted words and letters. Let me give you an example. In the KJ Version of the Bible in John 1:1 It says, in the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God, but in the New World Translation is says, in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was "A" God...

The rest of us, many millions, over 7 MILLION, have the hope of living in a paradise earth that Jesus talked about so much. Matthew 5:5-mild-tempered ones will inherit the earth. He said pray for God's Kingdom to come-Matthew 6:9,10,33=put kingdom first.Matthew 24:14-he says it will be preached earthwide.READ:Matt:25:34. Luke12:32,22:29.It's important to know what was important to Jesus, to be a disiple as we are.
