I don't care for what the NAACP has turned into. I have friends in lower local branches, many of those are still sticking to their roots and trying to help the community. I think it's the higher ups that are the ones with the issues, MLK would probably be ashamed of what his organization has turned into.

Tea Party was FAIL from the beginning, because it was 99% Republican. It could have had a sustained effectiveness by holding both parties accountable. Now they just have been co-opted.

I think pro-war, pro-neocon, pro-Zionist war hawks who don't actually denounce Bush on the stuff that really matters and embrace phonies like Palin are the same old same old.

It's not just a few nuts that get the Tea Party accused of racialist ideology, it's spokesmen like Mike Williams and data from the Washington Institute that shows them to be 25% more likely to be "racially resentful" that earns them said accusations.

@ThePresidentialTouch good point. One thing about tea party though- I really wish they'd be more historically accurate and... go and sink the yachts of the ceo's of Goldman Sachs or something.... not that the gvt doesn't deserve our ire, but the banking ceo-types and upper echelons that are really pulling the strings here, and as long as they are, neither Dems, Repubs NOR libertarians will be able to save us...
