  • I looked for parts 1-3 but was unsuccessful. Are they on your channel by some other name?

  • @tchimmerroks Sorry but hey have been removed.

  • Good work!

  • @fitchhollister Thanks for the comment. I checked out some of your videos and will add them to my playlist.

  • seems too much for a spare tire carrier

  • @fordwindsor351

Well this truck is for going way out in the Southern California Desert. Camping gear, fire wood, food, water, and plenty of beer! Dosent leave much room for a 40inch spare tire. Same goes for taking bikes out riding. No room for spare tire.

  • That's not bad. Sounds like you needed some beers to calm down. LOL. I like the idea. I'm building my tire carrier for my 4Runner. It's still just a frame on a hinge just like yours but I'm going to do a lug nut setup up instead of your tire mounted style. I'm going to use the same lug pattern to hold the tire up and lock it in with a wheel lock. That's pretty close to my set up. But I'm doing it off to one side. Gives me ideas in case mine doesn't work.

    Great video. Keep them coming.

  • welll i was looking at the plate that he bolt goes over to hold the tire in place...u can weld some extensions on the bracket that have like 1--_--1 like a curvature to lockinto the lug nut holes or the holes on the rim or somethin lol but idk i wannasee the bumper u were gonna make?

  • Thanks for the comment! So far its worked out fine except for the the bolt that secures the tire. It tends to work its way lose but the lock will keep the tire from falling off. So I need to make something that keeps the bolt from turning? I just had a flash! That bolt takes a 1-1/8 inch socket. So I think i'll weld a metal tab to a socket and then aling it with the lock to keep it from rotating.

  • i want one man !! damn :D
