Yo guy...whats the track?

kinda funny but been trying to get my crabs down for a while.. but your tip where you said you like to think of it as tapping your fingers on a desk is really what helped me out with my technique the most. i always tap my fingers on the desk and for some reason that was the one thing that suddenly made it click for me. thanks man!

for those who want to kno hes demonstrating the closed crab, i.e the fader is in the closed position and is then tapped on 3 times, the fader will be in the closed position wen the scratch ends. this is the easier version of the crab, a open crab starts with the cross fader open and ends with the cross fader open and thus can be repeated smoothly over and over with no gaps in sound. it took me a while to learn this so thought id mention it. check out dj angelos tutorial!
Hey, I have an old Stanton SK-2F that I decided to dust off, then I remembered why I had to stop. I think the fader (CFF1) is worn out, it has to move like 4 or 5mm for it to cut in (mainly for crab scratching) when it should only be at MOST half that distance. Do I need a new fader? It's like 6 years old.

@Redcom001 Sound like you need a new fader.
Try spraying it first with contact cleaner.
