@1tuff57 they actually only weigh 3200 pounds stock with full interior. A stripped pro street one will probably weigh 2500 pounds.

This one was probably had a mostly stock 350 or 327 in it.

that 57 chev is a tuff street car it must be about 2 tons of real steel to the power to weight ratio its a pretty fast car

@86cookiemonster What the hell are you talking about, have you priced a nice '57 Chevy? They are not cheap. You might be able to get a beat up '90s Camaro that's cheaper and faster than a built Civic, but not a classic of any kind.

@86cookiemonster 4-5 grand to make a SOHC civic go 10s these days. No big deal anymore, the formula just had to get established. And the big three gave up the whole american can crap when they started building them overseas and shipped back here to be sold. Screw em. I'll buy what i want.

57' did look like it struggled to get past that little S6 enthuasists should learn to respect the sport no matter what type of car ur running cause time and time again 4 bangers have been doing ok against V8s for sometime
