Dean Smith, Andrew Prine

How Wonderful a tribute to Dean Smith . he turned over his award to Patrick Wayne as his idol was John Wayne and since it would have been John Wayne's 100th Birthday . well, he felt that Patrick deserved it to honor his father. Patrick said his only wish would be that his father could be there to accept it.
I only wish that when Dean came into my offices looking for work, that I had made that possible and I could have . do NOT know why I didn't. Did you see him win his gold medal? .. He was the only celebrity I asked to sign my book and there were many there .. many of my friends of years & years . but I only wanted Dean's . Will work on cutting down intro by Patrick as well as Bob Fuller's speech & intro
