5 1/2 month old F-1 Savannah cat vs. 1 1/2 year old SBT Bengal. The Savannah (Silver color) comes from thekarakashkats.com and the Bengal (Golden color) comes from pleasantpondbengals.com . A Savannah cat is a hybrid between an African Serval and a domestic cat, while a Bengal is a hybrid between a Asian leopard Cat and a domestic cat. The Savannah cat is an F-1, which means he has a Serval parent and a domestic parent, making him 50% wild. The Bengal is an SBT, or Stud Book Tradition, which means that his genealogy shows at least four generations of Bengal to Bengal breeding.

  • which cat gets bigger the savannah or the bengal?

and hwo is bengal in the house.. with other cats and animals as well

  • @hallal55 The Savannah gets bigger... my Bengal can walk underneath him lol... and the Bengal is perfect in the house and around other animals, he really has the best temperment

  • @RTbar Hi there. beautiful cats. I'm trying to decide between a savannah or bengal... which do you prefer? How are their temperaments, personalities different? Are either affectionate? Will they rest at times and just cuddle with humans or sleep in your bed? Thanks!

  • @freddyphredphred... I don't prefer one over the other, and it's though to tell you which one to get because each cats personality will be different. Judging from my own cats, my Bengal is far more affectionate in terms of sleeping on my lap and letting me pick him up. He wants a lot of attention, and wants to be with me more than the Savannah. He comes back if I let him outside, whereas the Savannah I cannot let outside without a leash.

  • @freddyphredphred The Savannah is more of a commitment, but its really awesome seeing all of his wild traits come out. He is far more athletic than my Bengal, so he will want to be exercised regularly. The Savannah also eats more, ussually raw food. If you only have one pet, want a large cat that acts more like a dog, and have a proper enclosure, then get the Savannah. If you want a cat that still looks wild, but is less maintenance, then get a Bengal. This is just based on my cats though

  • @RTbar thanks so much for your response. it all makes sense i think i would prefer a bengal personally! thanks!

  • @freddyphredphred no problem... but also consider a lower generation Savannah, because they are more manageable than an F1

  • That was funny when the bengal hid in that thing almost like he was ment to flip it upside down, then u ruined it by moving it, wouldve been good too see what it done

  • Nice Savannah ! and also a nice bengal cat, But you can´t compare this two cats with each other.. the savannah is 50% or more (i guess) Serval! and the bengal is an STB. So if it was an Bengal F1 then you can compare this two cats with each other like : temparement, wich is bigger etc..

  • @freddyphredphred am not sure about bengal but for a savannah it depends. there is savannah f1,f2,f3,f4 and f5 you can pay around 20k for the f1 ahah thats pretty expensive but its the nicest!! half cat half cerval, for a f5 you will pay around 8 hundred !! Google it !! :P

  • thanks for uploading this video !! those 2 buddy are looking really nice!!

  • also what is the average price of bengals or savannahs? i'm in southern california if that helps
