@liquidsord23 cmon buddy...95% of offices are open from 8am-5pm when there is lighting. For those working at night, just get regular fluorescent lights. Or even better, a lighting cell (extremely low energy requirement) that is magnified with magnifying glass and concave mirrors. Look at the new outdoor solar lights you buy in stores. cheers!

what if, at night, you had one electric light aimed at the solar light collector? wouldn't it transmit the electric light just the same? also, what is the range of fiber optic cables? can they transmit sunlight from a lighted side of the country to a dark side?
This is great but what about at night time when you need light to see what you are doing? Don't get me wrong, this will save huge $ for companies during the day, but I wonder if there is a way to store it???
