17HMR Shooting 10 Rabbits With Just 9 Shots!

Just a short compilation of shots with my 17HMR. 9 shots for 10 rabbits sounds impressive but it was more luck than judgement. Some may have seen the first few shots before but I have put this video up in reply to one of our Aussie shooters that thought it was fun to shoot and leave wounded rabbits while laughing about it. Behaviour like that makes my blood boil and to add insult to injury he said that if I thought i could do better I should video it to prove it!
OK, Big Mouth, Here's the proof, so next time you want to try shouting your big mouth off check on who you are talking to forst!

Nice shooting BUT.... Do yourself a favor dont shoot young rabbits you need them to breed if they dont breed you wont have nothing to shoot

@verminsniper25 I understand what you are saying and you are quite right if I were shooting just for the pot or for the sport but unfortunately I was asked by the landowner to clear as many of the rabbits from this land as possible so size or age doesn't come into the equasion!

great video! at what range do you stop taking head shots and aim for the chest? i have a .17hmr cz 453 but i can never get the time to shoot it for my dad is always at work.

@TheJF5000 I am normally quite comfortable taking head shots out to around 100 yards! I will occasionally push it further depending on how "confident" I am feeling!

Bloody nice shooting. BTW, not all Aussies are like that prick you talk about in the description, most of us are responsible firearms owners, and follow the basic rules of hunting, but dickheads like that always find a way of making the rest of us look bad...

@Brendan1470 That's a fair point mate. Unfortunately we will always get a few knob heads and to be quite honest they really wind me up. I will openly appologise if I have offerded any responsible shooters with my comments!

nice shooting i own a 17 hmr myself its a mossberg model 817 and i havent went hunting with it yet i barely got it like 3 or 4 months ago im thinking of painting it blue tiger or if not i will just paint the rifle barrel grey

@FrenchieBoy1951 ill have to look into that. i got a bushnell 3-9x40 on my marlin, and it just isn't clear enough for me. wantin a lil' more contrast with my scope.

@Chanse301 I had an SMK 4-16X50 on it when I made this video but I have now changed it for a Simmons Pro-Hunter 4-10X44 which has even clearer optics for what is basically a "budget scope"!
