This review is stupid. they need to test the 2007 RS6 v BMW M5, not the s6. This guy doesn't even know what he is talking about. Typical american review.

@JELH tell me about it! i love everything about the rs6 models except that they are always ALWAYS late to the party...

somehow though; i think its gona have more than the old 580...well, actually im hoping.

the new s6 has a far better drive train than the old one though.

@lex33122 There is a new M5 and new updated E63 AMG and an updated XF-R not to mention the new CTS-V. So the timing is perfect for Audi to introduce a proper rival for these cars, but they are holding back AGAIN! A new RS6 is due to three or two years away. Why can't they just give 560 hp to the new S6, NOW? Dammit Audi!

exactly. and it goes even deeper; e63 from AMG division and m5 from M division. RS6 is from quattro gmbh (not s6). shouldnt the test be between ALL performance division cars? if it isnt that way, then it isnt a test,

if we take this comparison seriously, then whats the point of the rs6?

Audi screwed up BIG TIME with this one. They had the perfect timing to launch the S6 as a proper rival for the M5, but they held back because of the RS6.

@onetwothreefour721 BMW has 1 FWD car, the Mini cooper...I cant see them putting a 3 series to FWD because that would contradict the whole "Ultimate driving experience" deal they have going on.

@onetwothreefour721 If they did, that would open the door for them going head to head with BMW and Benz in a market they might have follwers behind. Pound for Pound, BMW's are beyond good handling cars, Audi would have to do alot of homework in competing with them
