  • lols hehe what notes did you play? can you send the notes? I've been wanting to learn it ahah

  • @gester27 have no idea... was playing like a cornet/trumpet with open valves .... just the slide all the way in..

  • If your actually trying to be serious about playing that poor trombone, try to work on long tones to open up your tone.

  • @DatTbonerFool yeha, trying to be serious about it, but have no clue on what I'm doing with it. thanks for the input.

that should be it it stays first position the whole time you start on a normal f and go up its simple if you can hit that high f it takes a little experience which this guy obviously dosent have

  • @ClueLou Buzz with the mouthpiece detached from the horn more to improve your tone, that and long tones. You should feel some strain with the new embouchure setting and some soreness slightly below the corners of your mouth of you practice enough. What ever you do, do not press the mouthpiece hard on your face, this will cause bad habits for later playing. Only press enough to create a seal between the mouthpiece and your lips. Good luck on the playing. =D

  • @ClueLou Well, lets talk about the embouchure first. In general, keep your lips together, and teeth only slightly apart, apart to where you can fit a wooden pencil in the gap. If you have a slight overbite, then bring the bottom jaw out until both of your teeth is level. Keep your chin flat by using that muscle right below your lips to pull down, this will keep your embouchure stable. When ascending, think of FIRMing your bottom lips by tightening the muscles just alittle below your corners.
