@alanheath2 I am not defending the BNP. But they have been quite sly in effectively encouraging paranoia and fear of the 'Muslim threat' to gain the support of the electorate, you must see that surely.

@hellsbells056 I appreciate that the BNP is just reacting to populism but if you take things like the bombings which are designed by the Islamic militants to make the non Islamic population of the UK turn against all Moslem citizens then in effect the BNP is allied to Al Kaida because its aims are the same. Thinking that things are going to get better by turning on one section of the community is never the answer - it has been tried before in many countries and does not work.

@alanheath2 The numbers of BNP MEPs will always fluctuate. Personally, I think the numbers will always depend entirely on the current topic amongst world affairs. So like around the 7/7 bombings when everyone become Islam-ophobic. I think events like that allow parties to exasperate ideas. The BNP supporters on the whole are generally paranoid. I am not one of them. But people should not be so quick to judge or to be prejudice towards them if they do not understand their policies.
