En vez de seguir al montón y retirarse en una comunidad en Florida, Barry y Nanci Stevens decidieron cambiar de rumbo al vender su casa y dedicar esos fondos a montar "El Puente", una organización sin fines de lucro que hoy por hoy alimenta 5 mil bocas indígenas y envía casi una centenar de niños a la escuela anualmente.

They do a LOT of great work with VERY LITTLE resources! February is when kids prepare to return to school so I'm SURE they can ESPECIALLY use help now. If you're visiting Costa Rica, please consider bringing things to help this/other groups. School supplies are ESPECIALLY needed now-black shoes, white socks & shirts & BACKPACKS. Families MUST provide ALL these items or risk the kids not being able to get into school! Even if you're not visiting the Caribbean side, they can arrange to get them.
