Outside Looking In (Nick Jonas Love Story) Chapter 37

We landed in New York and got out of the plane. After getting out bags and meeting up with our parent we headed off to the hotel. There was no work on todays schedule so the we were going shopping but they boys on the other hand did have work. They were off recording a new record and I assumed that was what the duet was for.

We headed off to a big shopping area and Haley showed me a few really cute places. She'd been to New York before but I'd never been. I chose to stay home for school or at least that had always been my excuse. We spent two hours shopping and we were exhausted. Who knew the term shop till you drop was actually literal.

We headed back to the hotel and met our parents for dinner. We hadn't seen the boys since this morning and apparently we had to wait until dinner. They would be back then and I didn't know if we could wait that long. After lunch we went upstairs and unpacked our suit cases and the stuff we bought. Haley and I were sharing an amazing suite. We could have had single rooms but we chose to be together. That decision put huge smiles on our parents faces and even ours too.

After a few time passing activities it was time for dinner. It took all of our power not to run all the way downstairs to see the boys. When we finally DID reach them there was a really pretty girl with brown eyes and perfect black hair that fell to her shoulders. I assumed she was Kevin's girlfriend because they were holding hands. They were a really cute couple if I do say so myself.

"Hey guys." Haley and I said in unison only to burst out laughing.

"Hey. This is Danielle my girlfriend." Kevin said.

"Hi." We said, except this time it wasn't at the same time.

"Hey, oh and don't listen to Kevin. Call me Dani." She said with a sweet smile. I could tell we were going to become great friends. She was genuine unlike a lot of girls we had met over the years.

We finished saying our hello's and went to get seated. Haley and I talked to Dani the entire night. We found out that she and Kevin are both the same age, she's an only child, and she was studying Marine Biology. The three of us all had a lot in common and I could see the smug smiles on all of the boys' faces. They were acting as if it was all their doing that we were getting along so well. I guess I wasn't the only one that noticed.

"Will you guys wipe those idiotic smile off of your faces. This has nothing to do with you." She said and she looked at us and gave an inconspicuous wink. Yep. Like I said before. Great friends.

We went to hang out in the lobby for a bit before going to bed. Kevin and Dani left eventually because she had school tomorrow, but we would see her again after class. Nick and Joe and Haley and I soon went up to our rooms after they left. I couldn't help but notice that Joe and Haley were getting pretty close and it made me happy that she finally found someone that we all approved of. I guess I could also say the same for myself though. I had finally found a great guy. That I knew couldn't hurt me. We went to bed that night in a great mood. We had a new friend and tomorrow was a new day that would be filled with new experiences. Well, for me at least. I was recording with the boys tomorrow and I was excited. Although who wouldnt be?
