Explore the Secrets of Vietnamese Martial Arts.
Nam Huỳnh Đạo Martial Arts school officially opened starting on November 24th, 2001. Up to date, the kungfu school has gathered thousands of students, built a staff of experienced, moral and well-respected fellows, and equipped kungfu training halls modernly and professionally.

The founder of Nam Huỳnh Đạo is grand master Huỳnh Tuấn Kiệt, a 7th generation descendant of Warrior General Nguyễn Huỳnh Đức. General Nguyen was both a noble and a kungfu master, and played a significant role in founding and developing Southern of Gia Dinh. It is General Nguyen the origin of the Huynh's martial arts. Temple of General has been recognized as national heritage. It is located in Long An province, south of Vietnam.

The Master originated from a family whose many generations devoted to Medicine and Martial. He inherited kungfu and medicnal knowledge from his grandfather and father, who were well-known as kungfu and medicinal masters in Long An province. Masters father is also the translator and editor of the reference book "Hoàng Hán Y Học", which is one of the valuable works in ancient traditional medicine. Nam Huỳnh Đạo Martial Arts is officially founded to fulfill our ambition to promote Vietnam authentic cultures and traditions.

  • @024101622 Mr Polite, I also supplement by saying that Vietnamese food is superb, because it has very little sugar, salt and fats----very beneficial to health ! I hunt for the Vietnamese noodles, salad and spring rolls. And I even am so "mad" (I mean aggressive) to study the "Menu Reader" in my Vietnamese language books ! No matter the origins of Vietnamese & Chinese, still there's convenience in learning the languages which share similar sounds.Cheers to the cultures of China AND Vietnam !

  • @washingzoo1 Cheer!

  • @024101622 Mr. Polite, I actually have quite a number of Vietnamese buddies whom I treasure much. Some of them help me learn Vietnamese. Some help me to make money-----hahaha ! I actually appreciate the Vietnamese coffee which is burning my appetite. Vietnamese has many things of origin. Forget about the Chinese; be independent of them and coin your own terms for things of your own. Chinese got Gungfu fr India but didn't keep any Indian word in its terms. Drink a cup of coffee, my friend!

  • @024101622 Mr. Polite, I had to accept the fact that the Westerners discovered & invented the scientific laws & began to learn from them & benefit much. Culture is to be shared & not to be made proud & belittle others. So is martial arts. I actually appreciate much of Cong Phu & would strongly make a little suggestion: give a Vietnamese title to that art ! It is a beautiful combination of the hard and the soft styles. It's both beneficial to health & self-defence.

  • @024101622 Mr. Polite, You seem quite educated and cultured. I feel for you when people say "this cam efrom China; that came from China". I felt that too when I learnt Mathematics and Science. The teachers said this law came from the West, that law came from the West. I hated the Westerners very much. Later I found that the Chinese were not scientific in their thinking and hence did not discover & invent much of Science, except the compass, printing, explosives.Still later, I accepted facts.

  • @washingzoo1 it's up to you, sir, i'm not a MA learner :D, i just have a ass-itchy (sr 4 the bad language) everytime i hear about "Chinese did this, Chinese also did that, that comes from China" like the world belongs to Chinese, i dont suppose to hide the fact that i hate them much...ok, may be i were alittle bit off-balance right now, thank for your awakening to me sir.

  • @washingzoo1 i agree with you that there are many of VNmese's words sound like Chinese's, that because we were under Chinese's rule for a thousand years, they tried to make VN one lowly part of them, but the history proved that we don't. It seems very clearly to me that you have much knowledge a bout M.A. but, if you try to open your mind alittle bit, you'll see every M.A. masters come to a common state like "hit like dont hit, moves coming out by themselves", they're all look alike, sir

  • @024101622 Cong Phu is good ! I'm not saying it's bad ! The Chinese always admit that their Shaolin Kungfu came from India; they are not ashamed of that ! They are even proud of that ! In most of their Kungfu books, that's been recorded all through ! Karate people also always admit that their martial art came from China through Fukien White Crane style which passed 1st to RyuKyu (Okinawa) & then to Japan proper. Not offensive at all ! Still having much self-respect ! Not hiding origins !

  • @024101622 Cong Phu is just a transliteration of KungFu; if it's not, then why did they not coined a newer, more Vietnamese term for Cong Phu? Why is it so close to KungFu in sound? Given that it is a Vietnamese martial art, why is it so simila rto the BaGua Palm and Hung Ga Fist and some other KungFu styles which we can find in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, & the rest of the world. If we allow for it being a Vietnamese M.A., give a name different from KungFu. There's nothing wrong about that !
