The Ghosts are about the most extreme example of 'animatte on the AVID gone about' as wild as I've done.

It's an artform, really -- anyone else have cool shows with animatte?

Trivia: A matte is a cookie cutter shaped hole in one layer of media that allows the 2nd to show through. Animatte is drawn frame by frame by the editor.

In this case, I placed images from public domain lumber jacks behind the scene, threw a glow around them, and moved the background plate to match the foreground camera pan. Repeat 3 times and rinse.

Trivia #2: Editors are more often becoming digital compositors, and writers, and producers, and story tellers.... etc. As en executive producer, I see the sense in replacing a small team of producers and writers and graphics people with one editor. But, I do NOT see the sense in insisting the best editors are paid nothing more for these newly defined roles!

Also, I don't see why more producers don't learn to edit at the rough cut stage! Eventually, we will all be working at home, cutting hi-def realtime over the internet.

Umm I just went there a few days ago and it wasn't a foot urself place anyways the only ghost that r rumored to live there is a dead lumber Jack (I think) named Jack who apperently is nice and a women who was sleeping in a metal bed there and was struck by lightning(I don't believe in ghosts)
