Cold easterly winds swept into the UK at the start of February 2009, bringing heavy snow. The worst affected area in the whole UK was a narrow slice of south London and north Surrey. Perhaps worst affected of all was the small area around the town of Leatherhead, where over a foot of snow fell. This video shows some of the news reports together with the aftermath of the snow, including snowmen, abandoned cars and icicles. This is part 2 in the series.
Damn good video. I hope people like this weather because its gonna return.
