@GreenManalishi8151 yes both MIM and USA fenders are made by mexicans but there is a difference. Mexicans who make guitars at Corona Cali can speak some english. now thats a premium. ehehehe. you gotta pay more for them.

So yeah, i've played a few of these guitars. not really all that impressed...or impressed at all to be honest. they look cool, but i've found that the sound lacks a little...and by a little i mean a lot. and they can be a little uncomfortable to play to be honest.

@guitarshredfreak2010 dude, i realize i'm coming in on this conversation rather late, but any passive single coil has some degree of hum to it. and you can buy fender guitars with noiseless pickups or you can buy them aftermarket...fender brand. I've been playing strats and teles for years now and i can honestly say that i've put them through some pretty high-gain settings. may want to do a little more research before you start calling people idiots

@soljin3 Yes.. Unless you've been playing a long time you won't even notice the difference between a Mexican or American strat.

Hi, Im wondering if mexican made strats are worth the money? Any comments?

@09kitty23 i would go for it, they feel great to play, and with a bit of overdrive you can actually get a great heavier tone on it, good value for money :)
MIM Fenders are Made in Mexico by Mexicans. USA Fenders are made in Corona, CA by Mexicans. And they all do a great job!
