I think The Deftones are the better band but I also think it doesn't give me the right to say horrible comments about LP paying respects to them! Music shouldn't be about who's better! Support the bands you love and try and be respectfull to those you hate! They love music just like you but I guess we all can't be opened minded! LONG LIVE THE DEFTONES!

@sephiroth2099 nu-metal is a fusion genre of metal mainly taking roots in alternative-metal and grunge and hip-hop etc.

@sephiroth2099 Yes but nu metal is basically just downtuned power-chords played repetitively, and its in pop structure regular choruses and verses, no guitar solos or badass drums.

It's just a heavier grunge rock, which is good as long as you're not too commercial, but most nu metal bands were like emo is nowadays just appealin to kids with anxiety problems
