  • @cookietiff2009 I just read it too. It's crazy how her childhood was. And it surprised me how much like mine it was. I too have a huge heart and capacity to understand others. Maybe it takes a tough childhood to make someone able to be that way. I have been a fan of the Judds since I was a little little girl and it's nice to get to know part of Ashley.

  • im almost finished with the book..it is amazing...

  • I read parts of her book yesterday: I have always respected her humanitarian work: I am even more heartfelt impressed by her life that she wants to be a service of worship to God.......mission being accomplished by her....and sending inspiring waves out to others to do the same, no matter where one is. Echos of Bobby Kennedy's insisting the notion of one person CAN make a difference: reinforced by Ashley's life and actions. Thanks so much.

  • She's amazing! I love that she called the journalist on the crazy random question.

  • I love Ashley Judd. I have my own persona l reasons for why I admire her so much but she has really been my absolute favorite actress since I was a kid. She's also one of my favorite people.

  • Judd is passionate about helping people. Nothing wrong with that!

  • ashley, is to be commended for her concern for the defenceless among us and her work on their behalf. it is no secret her family was disfunctional, and strange as it may seem to those unknowing such dynamics disfunctionl members in them will savage eachother without mercy, yet close ranks quickly to defend agianst outsiders discoveries. that seems to be ashley's reactions here. its part of the dynamic. shes behaving just as you would expect if you know of these things.

  • This entire family is hard to swallow. Ashley always comes across as pretentious and self aggrandizing. One ends up wondering how much of what they put out there is truthful. Ashley, all the therapy you have done and still this?

  • @dylbiebee It's beyond absurd and it makes her look stupid and very much like a demanding diva.

  • Ashley is so pompous...I've never cared for her as an actor mainly because of this self regarding attitude.

Physically Ashley reminds me of Sandy Dennis, minus the uber talent.
