I belive the debate on this is over, A study on Several egyptian mummies was done and showed that ancient egyptians were... egyptian. .1% arab dna match, .001% European match. 10% black match(atributed to slave trade). The closest dna match was India/Hindu at 42% and Middle/Native america at 33%. Egyptians are their own race.

By the way, East African people are purely Africans. I'm from Ethiopia/East Africa and the people there are just like ancient Egyptians and they are Black Africans. Mind you, Ethiopia has never been colonized and not mixed with europeans.

@Rhann81 they migrated to that area we call the Indus valley and created a great civilization until the Aryans or Indo-Europeans came in and conquered them, mixed with them and lightened their skins up, set up Hinduism and the cast system. The original Arabs were and are Black not the white Arabs from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, etc, that we see on the news all the time. The Egyptian mummies were never tested for their DNA because Dr. Hawass knows the truth that they are Black African Kings and Queens and it would change the Arabs claim that they are the ancient Egyptians, when they our not.
