DropBox: Setup & Use With Mac, Windows, Linux & iPhone

Do you use DropBox? Ever set it up on your Mac, Windows or Linux computer? Perhaps you use it with your mobile device to have your files on the go. Whatever system you use it with, DropBox can keep your many computers & devices connected and synced with ease.

Today I have put together a small video that shows how to download, install and use drop box with Mac, Windows, Linux and an iPhone.

Great video. I got dropbox and I put some files in the dropbox from desktop but I can't find the files from windows. I also don't know how to make a folder from windows. I know you have to right click but my power pc g4 doesn't have a right click button. It's just a button and I tired contol and the button and nothing happened.

If you only have a one button mouse for your mac you need to hold down the "Control" key and then click your mouse. This will bring up the right click option as if your mouse had the second button. Also, you can create new windows through the Website Interfae.

I was using VirtualBox to Run Ubuntu & then I was using Remote Desktop Connection to connect to another PC in my office. So the only OS that was virtual was Ubuntu. The iPod is part of the developer package from Apple for developing iPhone/iPod apps.

Windows was PC desktop else where. I was using Remote Desktop Connection to remote into the windows PC. Ubuntu was running in Virtual Box.

This was very helpful and informative but I have to ask....Are you from Cape Breton? I detect an east coast Canadian accent but it doesn't sound like Newfoundland or New Brunswick. Gotta be CB or PEI. I'm from CB myself. If I had to guess I would say you are from Sydney or the Highlands.

What's the difference between uploading a file from the dropbox website and drag and drop a file to your dropbox folder on your mac??

when you drag and drop a file to your dropbox folder, does it use the space on you computer's HDD??
