  • Maybe put some chopped up roma tomatoes that were soaked in spices or you can soak mushrooms in spices (that softens them up alot). I think it maybe needs more texture since it is so creamy.

  • @Coneshag yea, forgot about the soaked mushrooms in olive oil and dehydrate for a couple of hours..:) thanks. soaking tomatoes in spices is genius too..:)

  • Try adding onions, julienned carrots and mix up in a peanut sauce for a vegan pad thai.

    i worried about it oo, so i wrote angela stokes, adn she said raw foods heal your skin, but i am looking at bat wings in the mirror right now.. she also said skin brushing helps, which, ok, i have not done yet..

  • Loose skin. I worry about that, too. I've been rubbing down with coco butter hoping that it will minimize the skin thing. Lost 30. 70 more to go. I heard someone mention that loosing the weight doing something healthy like raw increases the likelihood that the skin will retain more of it's elasticity than something more drastic like stomach surgery. Fingers crossed.…

    thank you, i try to expose them by showing them how i eat, rather than saying "why don't you eat this way".. you know? lead by silent example..:) the dried onions sound nice. i think i hae some of those.i never thought of marinating it, thanks.

    as for exercise, i jogged yesterday, and i do the wii boad stuff sometimes, i have to start doing it on the reg though, i have loose skin, i think i might need surgery later..:(

  • Mmmmmmm, looks delish. Next time try adding dried onion flakes, diced tomatoes and letting it marinade a bit. You could also add carrot strips to the pasta to give it some extra crunch.

    BTW, you look great. Are you on an exercise program, too?

    Great that you're sharing your raw journey with your family. Perhaps they'll be inspired and join the movement!
