Moonshine Elections - Part 1: The Hunt for Joe Bolton

We've found what we call "Moonshine Elections patterns" in 16 states, which together will produce 210 electoral votes in the 2008 presidential election. Characteristics: Rural locations, family-run government, criminal convictions of public officials. Join us as we try to track down an elusive guy named Joe Bolton, who programs the voting machines that will count nearly 200 thousand votes in 2008.

You are so full of crap!!!I know Joe and I work as an election Judge in Floyd County, What is your agenda? Why on earth would anybody want paper ballots? so much easier to commit fraud and have another screwed up vote like in Florida. Floyd County is almost entirely Democrat and when We tally out the voting machines it is very rare to see a republican vote on it. Joe does not Tally out the machines, the election officers do it and it always has to be approved by the Grand Jury afterwards.

Computers do whatever they are told to do. I was impressed with Joe's candor, but my final question to him was, "if a person was dishonest and they do what you do, how would anyone know?"

His answer illustrates my point: He said he doesn't have an answer for that.

My agenda is to tighten up elections procedures to secure and protect our rights.

Having lived all over the south, the minute I heard 'dueling banjos', I thought, yep, it's the south! Well old Harlan County, KY is back in the news. The 'love scene in 'Deliverance' comes to mind. The south is corrupt as they come. Many officials are 'good ole boy' white trailer-trash royalty, related, threatening and will do anything to keep power. How do you think the KKK has retained their power? I'm ashamed of my birthplace.
