@Michael71186 Yeah, I do understand. But I usually expect to see it from captured civilians or contractors- not a Federal agent, retired or otherwise. I guess I'm throwing an unfair bias. My great-uncle was a Secret Service agent and there's no way in hell he would cooperate upon capture. But then again, I don't know the circumstances involved in Levinson's capture or imprisonment. Perhaps someone was being threatened if he failed to comply, I don't know. I do hope he gets home.

No one knows. His captors have not identified themselves. Judging by the music and concrete wall, he's being held in either Afghanistan or Pakistan.

He doesn't deserve to be held captive like this, at least his captors could feed him and give him warmer clothes. I doubt he chose to go on this assignment, he works for the FBI, so the government probably sent him
On the news it says that his captors won't release him until the US meets their demands, yet they haven't responded to messages asking what their requirements are...

@samansepehr the US does not want war. we are not stupid here and we realize the horrible consequences of another world war or a conventional war with Russia or China. it would be wrong to say that the US wants war more than China or Russia.
