While I grew up listening to the Zombies (and loved this song), I like this arrangement better.

Even better, I like the phrasing done by SolidAsh covering Satana's cover of the Zombies.

This is one of the greatest covers of all time. Per usual, for a Rod Argent composition, it has unusual and unpredictable chord changes (took me a while to figure them out!). Originally recorded and released by Argent's band, The Zombies, in 1964, it peaked at #2 on the Billboard charts.

The Santana version appears on side 3 of the double album, Moonflower, released in 1977. That guitar solo is easily one of the top 10 of all time! Just my opinion, but everything else in this post is factual
