Hello, my name is Paris R. Strickland and I've been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma on November 29th, 2007. At only 5 days of age my mom and dad noticed that my abdomen was buldging to the right which was the first indication leading into my diagnosis. Within my first days of life, I've underwent ultrasounds, CT, MRI, bone and MIBG scans to determine the location of my cancer. The doctors at Children's Memorial Hospital determined that the stage 3 cancer was pushing against my spinal cord.
On December 2nd, 2007 the Oncology Team at Children's decided to biopsy the neuroblastoma and start chemotherapy. This is where my journey begins...

I do not know if you will read this or not but I feel like I need to tell you this.. With what your child is facing is a fight but I feel from family experience ST. JUDE Research in Tennesse is the only place for her... I know when a family member was there they told us that if it is found before the age of two there is a high rate of beating it... Please call them and see what they can do for y'all... She is beautiful, I will keep y'all in my prayers. Bring her there. God Bless...
