Dover to Schindler renovations

Still working on the replacement. In the hallway was the walls and top of the new elevator but they were packaged so I did not film them. The elevator door was actually unlocked so I was able to gather access to the shaft like this. The new elevator will have a 40hp unit and the old dover was also a 40hp unit. Even a sneak peak of the old dover traveling.

Nothing yet. All of the cab is still in boxes in the hallway.

Why the left door opens manually?

They apparently disabled the interlock and have not placed a new on in yet. All of the other floors are locked but this one you can open right up.

That is very interesting that for fix-it elevator. Elevator has being replacing with actives motor. When they complete elevator restore to riding that?

Can you get the machine room for this elevator before and after it gets modernized?
