at a weight-diff of over 250kg/550lbs and about the same power that corvette should clearly take the benz. check their dragtimes.

@BBAHUNTER Also remember driver skill is actually detrimental to seeing what the cars can really do in a straight line. Nobody cares how skilled you are. We wanna see how fast the CAR is, not how good the driver is.

@BBAHUNTER With an extremly good driver, and the tires heated perfect on a VERY good day, good track heat and right temp outside, yeah a rwd car can run those times on a dragstrip. Those Vipers have run 10.7s stock which is pretty crazy. But, on the street, you won't touch those times.

@sexyitalian891 Drivers make a difference too... stock Corvette Z06's have run 10.80s in the 1/4, stock ZR1's slightly better. Tuned and Pullied ZR1 ran 10.00s 1/4, just search LPE ZR1 vid.

@MonsterBackfire The SLR was pullied? Lmfao? Yeah man, he just figured it wasnt fast enough so he went down to his local shop and got a pully. Quit acting like such a know it all. The nissan GTR 2012, does high 10 sec 1/4 miles, and has 530hp and weighs what, 3800lbs? Sometimes things dont make sense and you just sound like a know it all when you try.
