  • I was born in Georgetown, 6 months before this was filmed. I wonder if any of these people new my parents and vice versa. .

  • Possibly! Who are your parents?

  • I don't recognize the names of your parents which doesn't necessarily mean much. I didn’t attend Georgetown High so I lost touch with a lot of people over the years and don't keep in touch. I do remember Silvercreak as I once lived North of that in Ballinafad.

  • This is really intense for me. I was born in Georgetown in 1984. I work there now, but because I'm a visible minority people assume I have no tie to this area. That hurts. I love Halton Hills and can't get past the fact that people don't think I'm a part of this community because of my skin colour.

  • Lol. I'll take the lack of reply as a Yes, I know them... not fondly though. That's ok. Just thought it would be cool to bump into some old acquaintances of my parents from their youth.

  • @RDB331

My Dad is Henry Rolfe and my Mother is Debra McAllister. The lived up in Silvercreek on 27 Sideroad. My Dad graduated at Georgetown High. He’s a year older than you I believe (from what I can tell from your profile page). Other names you might recognize are Bill, Jesse and Gary Rolfe; Ernie Engleby or Keith Fowler.

  • I love the makin' bacon sign in the backround, awesome baby. =)

  • I wish I was alive back then!

    I wish I was born in 1950

  • These are great films, "Georgetown in the Seventies", Thats where I am from.

Recognized a few things ie Brewers Retail and G&S Television at the Plaza.... excellent!!
