I'd like to slap that arrogant bonehead at the beginning of the film. The guy who supports globalization and who says he is trying to help those small farmers become economically viable. No, if he was really honest he would say out of the way while we destroy your livelihoods and corporatize farming=globalization. Control of the food system while we make big profits. But like the mafia says "it's only business" Soul less p.r.

My heart breaks for the farmer. Some of those farms have been there for generations and life was much better. We have to think outside of the box and come up with solutions that will benefit us all. We could start by educating others through this excellent film, form community groups and come up with ideas. I believe that the power will come from within those community groups. Government is not listening so we have to form think tanks. That would be a start.

I often wonder Who decided life was about making money? How did we end up this way ? I have to believe that Banks and those who own them have given us this way of life. I blame them and I personally am very tired of struggling simply for money.
What a disaster that we have allowed this to happen. The greed for money and power is nothing but evil. The propaganda that they use is sickening , but some how we still fall for it!
