brother called Alec and a sister called Mary

The Second World War and he was bound for Blighty
But the ship hit a mine but he survived cos he's mighty
Some time past and then he joined the navy
kept the cold weather off by wearing a tea cosy

He went to the theatre, then became Robin Hood
and he played in lots of tv shows and was really good
Innes Lloyd called him to see what else he could do
and then Patrick found himself playing Doctor Who

And he did a load of episodes but many got lost
The Doctor broke the rules and then he couldn't go free
And then the time lords turned him into JON PERTWEE
