The bass player and drummer both have the same last name of Thomas but aren't related... ....Bruce Thomas on bass and Pete Thomas on drums. And they were an amazing rhythm section together.

I saw the Stiff Records tour at Erics in Liverpool in 77 (I think). Elvis and Ian Dury had an altercation as to who should close the Gig. Apparently it was Dury's turn, but Elvis felt he should do it as he was in his home town. Dont know what happened but I remember Dury lying on the floor singing.
