  • Exquisite! Madame d'Angelo was a coloratura soprano with a voice of great brilliance and beauty. Thank you for posting.

  • I'm happy that you appreciate.

(Je suis ravi de vous faire plaisir)

  • she sang it exactly the same on both verses, and no high Eb. not a fan.

  • tout simplement merveilleux!!!

  • I always liked her voice. Very sweet quality. Perfect for the roles she sang-I think Gilda and Rosina were the most frequently performed at the Met.

  • She is magnificent!

  • Gianna has a nice voice. Very well sung.

  • In my youth, Gianna d'Angelo was a very pleasant alternative to Roberta Peters and Lily Pons, as well as the monumental Joan Sutherland, all of whom were celebrated coloraturas. As stated, she sang most brilliantly and had a great technique. I admired her Gilda, Rosina, and Lucia as well as her Olympia.
