P.S. For those critical of the term, social enterprise, I think that is SDFC's branding of the solution, not Burberry's.

A compelling vision. Can any Burberry team members post links to more information on timing, project costs, etc.?

This is utterly insulting to those of us who work so hard at making sure People and Planet matters as much as profit. Simply upgrading your IT infrastructure to get your customers to buys more doe not make one a social enterprise,.

What Kenneth Cole does seems way more slick. Burberry's platform is wonky. Check out KC's holiday catalog on their Facebook page.

that is the point, simply throwing around the social enterprise term for profit. The only space that exists here is social profit and enterprise.

I know where you are coming from, but in this space Social Enterprise means something different to the social enterprise definition you are thinking.... Its confusing, but you can see what the digital space calls "the social enterprise" on here....

I fail to see the social enterprise aspect.. simply being connecting to society by a business by definition is not social enterprise but seeing a social need and creating a solution would be the social enterprise aspect. Simply throwing a buzzword of social enterprise is really socially irresponsible. Burberry I am sure that he bottom line will benefit, but just not those in need.
