Shiiit, too slow. Robert Russell Bennett would turn in his grave.

My high school band is playing this whole piece 1,2,3,4 and 5. And the way they are playing it is really slow.
-
This piece is written so that playing three movements is a grade four, four movements is a grade five, and all five movements is a grade six. This is one of the easier movements, but throughout the entire piece it has funky rhythms and messes with you.

This is slow, very slow
-
grade 5 isnt that tough....thats all my band plays...
-
This piece is a grade 6.
A very easy 6. but a 6 none-the-less
-
I'm pretty sure it's at least a four. The band I'm in is playing it this year and it has funky rhythms and screws you over when you think you have it right. D:

grade 5?... grade 5 is extremely tough music, i would say this is either a grade 2 or 1
Most of these videos appear to have compromised sound quality. However, it was wonderful to revisit this piece (I will try to listen to the rest of the suite as well).
I don't mean to brag, but I would like to say that I knew Robert Russell Bennett personally, and have seen him conduct this score back in 1960, I would say.
The experience was unforgettable.

Yes, that's correct. See my first comment, explaining why.

Recorded by an unattended VHS camcorder, which explains the marginal video quality, and the audio compression of the musical dynamics.
