If you hvae A new uverse install, Make sure the tech is not secretly Billing you. At&t pushes techs to move finish a job under a certain time. That time shrinks so they can push more installs. that means bonus money to sales managers. When techs bill, they get time added to jobs. So managers allow this because Techs that work fast, make good Efficiency numbers for them as amanagers. They will knowingly let techs bill for what is supposed to be FREE installations.

OBVIOUSLY I have to have had uverse to be able to show others how it works on a working tv. So all of you who question how I have the products in my home instead of seeing the positive in the video, I had uverse, so I had the products! How else would I be able to show the gateway video and show the gateway info? There is a negative spirit that one must have, when they see a person with creative ability. they see such a person as Bad.Why do that?

At&t only wants 10 day installs now so these are getting used more and more,but you will never find pigtails in a tech's house. they would rather just get it in and working stupid asses are creating hundreds of chronics per day

@TheToasteeee DSL runs to your house on 2 wires. Hits a gateway and uses a coax for tv, One single wire, Or passes it into cat5, 4 wires. Do you know why that is? It also can take that and run it over two wires that are CAT5. the only reason it might lead to chronic repeats is because Like anything else, they can fail, or the IW can fail. And if you get a tech that has no clue what they are doing, then they will conclude with all arrogance, that its the filters. Some say the same of Diplexers !

Obviously it must work, if this Tech can complete installs this way. U-verse uses UTP for voice, video and data.

@DaUverseGuy thx for info my house actually has pre wired coax and cat 5 wire and i set up a network , my wife said her coworker was charged big time but i was thinking it was cause her home was not equiped with any of what i got ?

@DaUverseGuy What Market do you work in? Also I agree if the IW is conditioned righ HPNA over twisted does work however unless the cx has Voip why not just do ethernet over quad(RGYB) and save a possible Chronic.....Have you played around with the 3801 in the HPNA over twisted yet seing it only does HPNA off of coax? Just wondering man I am always looking to pass info back and forth

question for any U-verse tech..... is there one way in particular that is better then another when installing with regards to picture quality, time it takes to get video on demand or anything at all

These are really only for the times when you get a 1-3pm install at 5pm and its a 4 box and you already accidentally said the sync to house is good.

@DaUverseGuy I havent used a single filter on a single install. i always use strait runs. i get 0 repeats and im always about 120% effeciency. Id love to see a monthly report on your Effeciency and repeats.
