I just got a PMA-5 and I am slowly getting used to it. Hearing what you made is really inspiring, a stylish masterpiece. I would like to use the PMA-5 as a sequencer to control a sampler, have you ever done this? How?

I dont use the pma5 anymore but it is possible to control what you want with this sequencer. Control a sampler wich has midi chanels to be controlled.

how is the sequencing process for the PMA-5?

I have been thinking about purchasing one for a while, but cannot find any examples or videos of a person creating on it.

i have the q70, could you compare the two?

pma has got only 8 midi tracks.

i own pma and qy70. You can see my posted video here.

Sounds are better on the pma5 but i prefer the qy70 ,it has more tracks. Both are good machines.

do you have any tips for using the PMA-5? I was reading the Quick Start manual and am confused about whether or not you must use styles for backing?

I bought one; Just waiting for it in the mail.

There's no styles.

You have to create from a to z.
