Spot the Bulbasaur.

Annotations show the correct balancing of the photosynthesis equation, because I am a muppet.

  • Awesomes :)

    Did you see Uncaged Monkeys?

  • @Widgetas

Found out about it in Cardiff 2 hours before it was due to start. £100 later (mates) and a frenzied run into town and yes, I saw it :]

Tweeted a question too, which got read out to much lols. "Of all the amazing images in the universe, why did Professor Cox use his own face for his book covers?"

    I'm very proud.

  • Another problem.

It's not like plants only need Chlorophyll for photosynthesis. Without the surrounding molecular machinery Chlorophyll does not produce Oxygen at all.

  • @infinit888

    that's what Bulbasaur is for

  • If we 'are what we eat' then Gillian McKeith must eat a lot of 80-year old women because that's what she looks like. What a rotten ambassador for healthful living.

  • Loved it. Already bought and read the book so won't buy it again ;). Anyway for those who're on the fence, it's worth the buy. In fact you really should buy it. Even if you're not into science.

  • "miracle" at 2:15

  • @Widgetas yep :) it was brilliant

  • Lol

  • @madoogliani

dont care about the bad language, just show it to them. there are no rational reasons to avoid bad language. Many highly educated and intelligent people dont avoid bad language, and much of the best comedy in part relies on it, i dont know why its even called bad language. Also, a study has proven that if you get hurt, cursing temporarily decreases the pain level, which is especially useful if the pain is also of a short duration.

  • Oh my Gawd... Someone who claims to be smart acually promotes this garbage in BOOKS? Argh, how far the world has fallen... :(

  • @madoogliani That voice-over was Ben Goldacre doing his bit at Nerdstock Christmas 2009

    watch?v=O1Q3jZw4FGs

  • @Widgetas Last London show. And what a show!

  • If it weren't for the bad language voiceover at the end, I'd show this to my classes.
