[I opened the door and what I saw shocked me.]
?- Hello Stephanie.
S- Oh my god! Erika!
Er- Hi honney! [I ran and jumped into her arms. I hadn't seen her in so long and I wasn't even thinking about my performance tonight or anything.]
S- What are you doing all the way over here?
Er- I came to talk to you actually.
S- About what?
Er- About you coming to live with me.
S- WHAT?!
Er- It's time to stop the nonsense and come home Stephanie. You know mom would want you to live with me, not people that don't really know you. [I knew that one hurt mom and dad. I could sense their hearts breaking just a little bit. I was furious, though.]
S- No.
Er- Excuse me?
S- I said no. I'm not going with you. I'm going to stay with my family. You might do what she used to do to me.
Er- You know mom only did that because you deservesed it.
S- What did I ever do to deserve so much pain?! I don't think anyone deserves to be in that much pain. What did she tell you? Mom abused me Erika. She physically abused me. All those bruises were from her not from being clumsy like she told you! I'm not going back with you so you just wasted your time. [with the tears that were already pouring down my face I got up and started to run out of the office. As soon as I turned the corner I ran into Nick. He looked mad. Like he wanted to punch someone in the throat, but at the same time he looked hurt and depressed. I ran around him and went to my room. I slammed the door behind me and locked it. I heard yelling from downstairs followed by a dor slamming shut and an engine starting up. Then I heard someone run up the stairs and a knock on my door.]
S- Go away!
E- Steph, babie. It's me. [I recognized Evan's voice and quickly scrambled to my feet and opened the door, pulled him inside, and locked the door once more. I desperately hugged him. He didn't say anything, he just hugged back and stroked my hair. One thing I hate is when people stroke my hair, but right now that's exactly what I needed. I pulled away a bit and led him to my bed. We both layed down. He wrapped his arm around me and that's when I noticed that I still hadn't showered, or changed out of my workout attire. He must have noticed what I was thinking about.] That explains why you're all sweaty and stinky. [I nudged him playfully and stuck my tongue out at him.]
S- I'll be right back. Don't move a muscle!
E- Ma'am no ma'am. [I rolled my eyes and went into the bathroom. After 20 minutes of hot water pouring down on me I got out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my frame and another in my hand trying to dry my hair a bit. Evan's eyes widened as he gulped and I couldn't help but giggle at his growing friend.]
S- Keep that thing under control Vans.
E- I can't help it babe. You turn me on.
S- Well too bad. I just want to put on some sweats and cuddle up.
E- how about we watch a movie?
S- Which one?
E- We can watch the notebook? All girls llove that yucky goo-goo stuff.
S- I hate the notebook. How about the hills have eyes?
E- I love you more and more everyday. [I giggled at his idiocy.]
S- I need all the rest I can get for tonight. You are going right?
E- Of course. I wouldn't miss it for the world.
S- You're so sweet.
E- I know, but if you don't go put on some clothes I'm going to go nuts. [I laughed and walked to my closet. I came out in http://www.polyvore.com/untitled/set?id=15808914 and layed next to him once more. He pressed play and we watched the movie.]
_____Evan's POV_____
[Steph fell asleep right before the movie ended. She looked so peaceful and from what Nick told me, I know she needs some sleep. At about 2 I heard a knock on her door. She stirred, but it just caused her to get off of me. I opened the door and Nick was standing there.]
N- Hey. Tell Steph she needs to start getting ready. She can sleep in the car, but she needs to be ready in less than an hour. She can either get dressed now, or change over there.
E- Well she took a shower already, so how about I just get her stuff and carry her to the car. We can let her get her sleep and she can change there.
N- Sure dude. I'll help you. Just give me her stuff when you have it all.
E- It's all right here.
N- Where?
E- Right here next to the door, her make-up is in that bag on top of the dresser and her outfit is hanging in the closet.
N- Okay, give it all to me now and I'll put it in the car. I'll tell the driver to turn the car on so it gets warm for her.
E- Okay man. [I gave him the stuff and within an hour we were all on the road.]
